Cemetery / BurialUnknown. Likely Ashe Co., NC is where he died, buried possibly on the plantation farm there.

Soldier Info:  Born in  NC in 1791; Died in 1857 in Rowan, NC. Purchased 50 acres in land warrant/grant in 1831 for $5.00 on head waters of Prathers Creek, Ashe, Co., NC next to Edward Taylor’s land.  He left a Will in Mar 1857 with his son Alexander as Executor; his wife Susan received most lands, and daughter a tract. All lands totaled close to 300 acres or more.
