Tombstone inscription: “A PRECIOUS ONE FROM US HAS GONE, A VOICE WE LOVE IS STILLED, A PLACE IS EMPTY IN OUR HOME, THAT NEVER WILL BE FILLED.”

Soldier Info: Born in Titus, TX in 1844; Died in San Saba, TX in 1909.
