Service Record:  Enlisted in Co. K on 15 Aug 1862; (from Brady photo, he’s man on the left) was about 21 yrs old when Brady took photo on July 4, 1863 , day after the Battle of Gettysburg. He was also wounded in the ankle and captured. An Andrew Blevins, 30th NC, is the man on the right and John Baldwin (50th VA) center. (This is likely NOT Andrew Z. but Ephraim’s uncle Andrew F.?), Ephraim was sent to Ft. Delaware as POW and took oath of allegiance on 19 June 1865. (spent 2 yrs as POW)
