Service Record:  Enlisted in Osborne’s Co. (Co. K) in May 1861; height: 5 ft. 9½ in., dark complexion, hazel eyes, black hair. ; discharged by medical surgeon and Cpt. Galt from Lexington Gen Hosp #2 on 7 May 1862; also had general cachexia due to exposure to fever during the winter and was unfit for duty for 2 months; surgeons certificate of discharge approved by Brigadier General Stevenson, C.S.A.
