Lookout, Md union prison on 26 Oct 1863; paroled at Pt Lookout and exchanged on 18 Feb 1865 due to extremely poor health; arrived at Camp Lee, Richmond, VA on 28 Feb 1865; sent immediately to Hospital #9 in Richmond, VA and admitted for 30 days or more; must have been part of the surrender then returned home to Grayson Co., Va.
